Jeanette Belz has provided customized government relations,
facilitation and special business project services to trade
and professional associations and individual corporate clients
since 2001.
Her facilitation skills and exceptional liaison and advocacy
relations had earned her key roles in negotiating legislation
representing the commercial construction industry and passing
a highway improvements ballot question in November 2008,
which will create 3,000 new jobs in northern Nevada
Previous to that, Jeanette was Director of Government Relations
for Wadhams & Akridge, P.C. representing clients in
the homebuilding, health care, mining and mortgage banking
fields. Her expertise in health care issues is drawn from
her experience as President and CEO of the Nevada Association
of Hospitals and Health Systems.
From 1990 to 1995, Jeanette advocated on behalf of 29 hospitals
with health-related organizations and governmental regulatory
agencies as well as the New York State Legislature as Senior
Vice President of the Northeastern New York Hospital Councils. In 2000 Jeanette established J.K. Belz & Associates to provide a variety of consulting services.
